This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.
****Please note: the video below shows manually changing each date for your projects when duplicating/rescheduling your events. You're able to change all dates on a project when duplicating (Article) or when making adjustments to a project (Article) *****
If a project needs to be rescheduled, but you want to apply their deposit to the new order, first mark an Offline Refund (Learn More) on the original project and add in notes to the refund "Natural Disaster" (or something similar).
Then, mark that project as Lost. (Learn More)
Next, duplicate the project and move the dates to a future time. (Learn More)
Then, apply an offline payment on the duplicate project. (Learn More)
For now, leave the duplicate in a “New Project” state. This helps you remember to take action and find a new time to reschedule. You can also sort projects by “New” to quickly locate these. (Learn More)
Add a task to check in with the client at a later date.(Learn More)
As a best practice, include a Task Custom Column to easily spot projects with open tasks. (Learn More)
Add an “Internal Note” to the project using a label that makes sense for your team—such as “Rescheduled” or “Postponed.” (Click Here).
This way, you can sort and filter your projects by their Internal Notes. (Click Here).
Finally, if you need to apply any rescheduling fees, create a service in your inventory labeled accordingly. (Click Here) This will also help you track how often that service is used.
