How Can I Add a Fuel Type to My Vehicles in Dispatch?

Learn how to use a custom attribute to note the fuel type for vehicles in Dispatch so drivers can easily see what fuel each vehicle uses.

To access this feature, you must be on Goodshuffle Pro Standard or above.

Step 1: Create or Edit a Vehicle

To add a fuel type to a vehicle, first ensure the vehicle has been created in Inventory or directly from the Route Planner.


Step 2: Add a Custom Attribute for Fuel Type

  1. Go to the Inventory tab.

  2. Locate and open the vehicle you want to edit.

  3. Scroll to Custom Attributes.

  4. Click Add Attribute.

  5. Name the attribute Fuel Type.

  6. Enter the fuel (e.g., Diesel, Gas, Electric) as the attribute value.

  7. Save the vehicle.

This custom attribute will now appear beneath the vehicle name on Dispatch screens.


Below is how this appears in the Route Planner for Full Users:

Caption: Fuel Type appears under the vehicle name in the Route Planner for Full Users.

Note: Only Full Users can view the Route Planner.

Below is how this appears for a Limited User in My Routes beneath Route Details:
