When scanning QR codes in Mobile Fulfillment, the system uses color coding to indicate their status. Understanding these colors ensures you take the right actions based on your workflow.

QR Code Colors and Their Meanings

Within a Project (Pull Sheet, Check-In, or Set Aside):

  • Green – The item is part of the project and can have an action taken on it

  • Red – The item is not part of the project, so no action can be taken

Outside a Project or General Scanning using 'View Item':

  • Green – The QR code was scanned correctly and can be used for actions like "View Item" or "Set Aside."

  • Yellow – The item is not in the project, but you can still view it

  • Red – The QR code is invalid and cannot be processed

Key Takeaways

  • When working within a project, you should only see red or green QR codes.

  • The Set Aside action follows the same color rules as the Pull Sheet stages or Check-In

  • When scanning outside a project, different colors help indicate whether an item is available for viewing or action
