This feature is available on all Goodshuffle Pro Plans.

Are you noticing that text is missing, white, or difficult to read in Goodshuffle Pro when using Google Chrome? This issue is often caused by a browser extension—especially ad blockers or dark mode plugins—that interferes with how websites are displayed.

Thankfully, it’s easy to troubleshoot and fix!

Step 1: Check for the Issue in Incognito Mode

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right of Chrome.

  2. Select “New Incognito Window.”

  3. Log into Goodshuffle Pro and check if the text now displays correctly.

If the issue goes away in incognito mode, the problem is likely caused by a browser extension. Let’s turn those off next.

Step 2: Disable Extensions One at a Time

  1. Click the three-dot menu in Chrome again.

  2. Hover over “Extensions,” then click “Manage Extensions.”

  3. You'll see a list of all installed extensions.

  4. Toggle off each extension one at a time, then refresh Goodshuffle Pro to check for improvement.

Common culprits:

  • Ad blockers (like uBlock Origin or Adblock Plus)

  • Dark mode or custom theme extensions

  • Font or accessibility plugins

Once you identify the extension causing the issue, you can either leave it off or explore its settings for exceptions.

Step 3: Remove the Problem Extension (Optional)

To permanently remove an extension:

  1. Go to “Manage Extensions.”

  2. Click “Remove” under the extension causing the issue.

  3. Confirm the removal.

Step 4: Refresh Goodshuffle Pro

Once the conflicting extension is turned off, refresh your browser or restart Chrome. Your text should now appear as expected.

Pro Tip: Keep your Chrome browser up to date to avoid display and compatibility issues.
